I don't know why, but I think I'm going to write up one of these journal things. I mean, nobody really pays attention to this and I don't really care, but I'll do it anyway because I am bored and I have to wait to take my sister to work in about 20 minutes.

Still, there hasn't really been a lot happening recently. My uncle died--the cause of his death is the subject of some discussion, its either drug overdose or severe heart attack, personally I think its a combination of both--but that's being taken care of and, because there's nothing that I can really do, I don't see any point in worrying about it. Emotionally, though, I appear to be a little out of whack over it because I've taken to apologising overly much to ~BonJiro. She's being as supporting as ever, despite how potentially infuriating my constant apologies may be, so I'm happy.

Other than that, I've just redesigned the computer network at Community House, a place where I voluntarily work in my field of expertise--IT and programming. Of course, there's not really much to be said about that. I put some computers in a room, made some cable and connected them to switches. That was difficult.

I'm still working on writing, as I always do, but I have no new short stories to show. If I can be bothered, I'll whip up something extra quick today just to keep the proverbial blood flowing. In that regard most of my time has been spent working on a bookish thing--perhaps novella would be the best classification for the intended work--that, so far, seems to be coming along quite nicely. The only problem I've noticed thus far is a lack of female cast. When I go for the second draft I'll rectify that, but at the moment its not entirely necessary. The plot drafting is all that's really important in this initial stage.

When I get around to a good draft of it--probably third time round--I might upload a chapter or two just to show off what I've done so far. Hurrah.

With the exception of that--dying uncle, new network and writing--I've only really been spending time with ~BonJiro. That's the way I like things. I don't really go for the whole big crowds and big parties thing anymore, I'd much rather spend a nice night with her watching movies, having a couple of drinks and just generally enjoying company with someone that both I love and is not a complete moron (quite the contrary, she is utterly lacking in the department of moron).

Anyway, that's the life of Tristan for the moment.
